My passion for flower arranging began at the young age of 10, as I watched my mother and grandmother make silk flower arrangements for our home. My interest turned into a hobby and my mother and I would make beautiful arrangements together. Years later, my hobby became my business called Flowers of Elegance.
For years I designed floral bouquets for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, theme parties and also decorated restaurants, banquet halls and hotels with beautiful custom designed floral arrangements, trees and plants. When my grandmother passed, I made her a one-of-a-kind flower bouquet that was so stunning and beautiful that it was unlike any other arrangement in her mausoleum.
‘There must be many other families‘, I thought, ‘who would want to honor their loved ones with a special flower tribute designed specifically for their mausoleum or cemetery‘. This is when I decided to launch my floral program called Heaven Sent Memorials.
Soon after, I presented my unique floral program that followed the changing seasons with custom designed arrangements that reflected the sentiment, “Although the seasons may change, our love is forever.”
A Little About Myself
I am a people person and I love helping others. For years I‘ve been a volunteer in the pre-op surgical department at my local hospital and I’m happy to be there to comfort family members while they wait for their loved one.
I also help with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and their fundraisers and charities. I especially love spending time with seniors and I share many hours teaching them floral designing. Nothing compares to the feeling of seeing a smile on their face after they’ve created their very own beautiful floral arrangements.
